Falling Deeper Into HIS WORD…

<Yeah!>
September has returned from its’ year-long journey.

I am interested in reaching out to readers who enjoy Recommended content from clean, spiritually mature bloggers & authors.

Bombarded By Blog Writers & Posts

I feel threatened.
Perhaps you’re uncomfortable too…
That feeling arises for me each and every time I see the online form, “SUBSCRIBE”.

Lord, I thank you for designing us, mankind, to long-for the revelations of your Presence on Earth. I invite you to guide us via Your Spirit to continue to seek You, then other treasures along the way, Your Path to our purpose on Earth.
In Your Son’s name I ask this, Amen.

One of the spiritual treasures that encourages me to continually be compassionate, to acknowledge God’s justice, and be humble in His Presence is delving through blog posts of Christians. My current fav. is a Christian who has authored Christian Romances, participated in online biblical study groups alongside me, and now supports Proverbs 31 Ministries as a Study Facilitator: Lila Diller. She posted a response [1.] to an article based on a book, 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do [2.]. Today I was encouraged that the subject of change was both directly addressed from a Christ-believer’s perspective, AND that the post indicates a humble spirit from the writer. So, by that I mean the writer openly acknowledges God’s Presence as foremost in casting-down negativity or fear-of-change.

Shrouded By Godly Books

Trust me. I am still here, writing this post. Yet.
I may appear to be shrouded to the naked-eye.
<Pardon?>

There is a distracted busyness shrouding my presence. NOT the part of my presence where His Spirit dwells within me… the visible part — where others can eye-witness my deeds, my reactions, my connection to the things of Earth.
This week I have some reading to do.
<Yep. Am gonna connect with some books.>

Lord, I thank you for a global network system that allows us, mankind, to reach another person or community which is impossibly distant otherwise. I invite Your Spirit to dwell deeply in my daily walk. I request that You, Lord anoint the literature I am reading… reveal Your Presence and Your Path as study.
I request that whatever
is not in alignment with biblical scriptures and Your Being, to be known/revealed as defeated & powerless via Christ’s Shed-Blood & His Resurrection.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Building Trust: Wield My Shield of Faith

A couple of popular Christian authors and writers have recommended Proverbs 31 Ministries as a Christian resource, so I am inclined to seek the godly treasures found in publications associated with them.
Read my story: It’s Not Supposed to be This Way: Book Review Incl., here.

Also, I was raised in the church. Specifically a church congregation that promoted books like Richard Nelson Bolles’s, What Color Is Your Parachute? [3.] It inspired people living the Canadian mini-depression (1980’s) to connect and achieve worldly success. Well… my current spiritual mini-depression, being attentive as a Christian, inspired me to peruse Adam S. McHugh’s, The Listening Life [4.] c.2014.

Lastly, you may’ve noted scientific-y jargon in my posts. So, when I was browsing the Faith section of Indigo Books at Stone Road Mall. The title of Alexandra Kuykendall’s, Loving My Actual Life, An experiment in relishing what’s right in front of me [5.] c.2016, captured my interest!

God Bless!
