WHAT DOES GROWTH LOOKS LIKE?

Would You Seek the Left-Overs?

New Years Resolutions: Change from habitual lifestyle FAILS.

Inspired to Change From Ancient Words

A scripture in the Gospel of Luke 2:19 [1.]— about Mary, the Mother of Jesus of Nazareth was recently a subject in a story, The Most Beautiful Verse in the Bible: It gives us a glimpse into Mary’s heart, by Michael Murray:

Luke compiled his gospel from eyewitness accounts. Mary was still alive after Jesus’ death, so there’s a strong likelihood that Luke interviewed her.

Imagine Luke sitting down to chat with Mary, who is now looking back on her life. He is asking questions about the night Jesus was born [2.].

Mr. Murray was hit “between the eyes” by Luke 2:19. Read my response here:

Changes of A Visible, Natural World Variety

So, I confess that the feeling of being shrouded—that I chatted about in my story, Mist Covered, Fall-time Reading, has lifted. The temptation to release my desperate grasp on claiming-Christ’s-victory has continued on its’ journey towards the season of Advent 2020…
<may each Christ-Seeker’s knock-at-the-door become resounding on its’ travels>

Also, the renowned busy-mindedness of my week — that I chatted about in my story, The Gentle Fall of Snow,… , has diluted. An evil deception that hinders or distracts me from daily spiritual-nurturing or anointing required for propagation of one’s healthy spiritual life.

There’s. No. “Human”-way. I. Can. Possibly. Go. Farther.

— Changes of A Supernatural, Invisible Variety

Lord Jesus, You are the One who sees our FAILS. You’re an eyewitness of times when one denies opportunities for spiritual growth.
I am, again, thankful that You intervened
paying the due compensation required for the debts of those who’re bound-by-evil-doing on Earth.
May the days of 2020 be under Your Sovereign authority. I request that the actions and thoughts which will fill each day propagate healthy, fruit-filled spiritual growth. I request that whatever
is not in alignment with biblical scriptures and Your Being, to be known/revealed as defeated & powerless via Christ’s Shed-Blood & His Resurrection.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Four more ‘sleeps’ until the New Year, 2020.
In January, our Christ-believing congregation journeys towards the New Testament teachings on the future times’s and/or society today’s struggle with ensnaring evil in our lives. My personal goal includes learning to release my long-time, loose grasp of trust in god-given affirmations from Christian neighbors — so that I am best equipped to wield the spiritual fruits of His Presence. The Presence — which brings release from thoughts and deeds which ensnare one’s spiritual walk… recall Peter (who was called Simon); in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 14, vs. 27–30, the Gospel of Mark 6:47–51, and the Gospel of John 6:21–25 [3.].

Release your clingy-grasp
of trust in the visible,
natural things which
are talismans & ambassadors
of Christ’s Presence in your life.
Consider His unseen,
invisible acts & teachings
as payment for
eternal spiritual freedom!

Because it’s God — Himself you seek.
Claim Christ’s Victory.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.” Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. When it was evening, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and He was alone on the land. Seeing them straining at the oars, for the wind was against them, at about the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea; and He intended to pass by them. But when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed that it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were terrified. But immediately He spoke with them and said to them, “Take courage; it is I, do not be afraid.” Then He got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped; and they were utterly astonished,…

So they were willing to receive Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going. The next day the crowd that stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was no other small boat there, except one, and that Jesus had not entered with His disciples into the boat, but that His disciples had gone away alone. There came other small boats from Tiberias near to the place where they ate the bread after the Lord had given thanks. So when the crowd saw that Jesus was not there, nor His disciples, they themselves got into the small boats, and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus. When they found Him on the other side of the sea, they said to Him, “Rabbi, when did You get here?”
